IIT Entrance Examination (JEE Main & Advanced)

JEE Main

  • Conducted by: National Testing Agency (NTA)

  • Purpose: Admission to NITs, IIITs, and eligibility for JEE Advanced

  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

  • Attempts: Twice a year (January & April)

  • Eligibility: Students who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 (Science stream)

  • Mode: Online (CBT)

  • Eligibility: Top 2.5 lakh students from JEE Main are eligible to appear

  • Attempts: Two times in consecutive years
